HYDROTHERAPY

The underwater treadmill enables animals with limited mobility due to arthritis or other types of musculoskeletal pain to exercise with reduced impact on their joints. It is used to improve and maintain muscle mass, increase range of motion and cardiovascular conditioning in geriatric animals. The treadmill is also an excellent aid in rehabilitation following injury, recovery from surgery, disc disease or other types of neurologic dysfunction, helping patients to regain strength and retrain muscle memory.

Underwater jets may be used to increase resistance for athletic animals and to relieve pain with hydrotherapy massage.
